Nut Cookies

Sweet nut cookies are ideal for enjoying the winter and holiday season. With a simple and quick preparation, these delicious cookies are ready in no time.

Ingredients:
150 g ground hazelnuts
150 g whole grain spelt flour
100 ml coconut oil
4 tbsp milk
3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

  • Stir in the ground hazelnuts, or some other chosen nuts, and the whole-grain spelt flour. Alternatively, spelt flour can be substituted for another whole-grain flour.
  • Season the flour mixture with a tablespoon of cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of honey or another healthy sweetener to taste.
  • Add coconut oil and mix it well with a spoon or your fingers.
  • Then, pour a few tablespoons of milk, enough to bind the mixture. Knead the mixture and shape the dough into a ball.
  • Sprinkle a little bit of flour on a clean surface. Then, roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 5 mm.
  • Using molds, shape the dough and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If you don't have molds, you can use an ordinary cup to shape round cookies.
  • In the preheated oven at 180°C (356°F), bake the cookies for about 10 minutes.
